WASHINGTON, DC - Georgetown University will host its annual Georgetown Classic Women's Volleyball Tournament on Friday-Saturday, September 9-10, at McDonough Arena. In addition to the Hoyas, participating schools include Ball State, Yale and Central Connecticut State.

The tournament kicks off on Friday evening with Ball State (3-3) taking on Central Connecticut State (3-0) at 5:00 p.m. That match will be followed by Georgetown (2-4) vs. Yale (0-0) at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, the tournament will pit Yale against Ball State at 11:00 a.m. Then, at 2:00 p.m., the Hoyas will meet Central Connecticut on the McDonough court. The evening session will feature the Bulldogs of Yale against the Blue Devils of Central Connecticut at 5:00 p.m. Georgetown will then meet the Ball State Cardinals in the nightcap at 7:00 p.m.

Admission is free for the weekend.
