Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University women's basketball standout Kieraah Marlow (Coatesville,Pa./Coatesville) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Through the season's first three games, the junior forward ranks eighth in the league in scoring with 18.3 points per game and ninth rebounding (8.0 rpg) and is among the league leaders, shooting 54 percent from the floor.
Marlow notched the 21st double-double of her career with 24 points and 13 boards in the season-opener vs. Towson and was then named to the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic All-Tournament Team after averaging 15 points, five rebounds and four assists as the Hoyas went 1-1 on their trip to Hawaii. Marlow surpassed the 800-point mark just two-plus games into her junior season after tallying 20 points in a win over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday.
The Hoyas (1-2) host Fordham University in a non-league matchup on Wednesday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. in McDonough Arena.
The start time for Georgetown's game at Appalachian State on Saturday, November 25 has been moved from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. as the Mountaineers' Division I-AA football team is playing host to Coastal Carolina on Saturday at Kidd Brewer Stadium at 3:30 p.m in the NCAA Playoffs.
