Washington, D.C. - Georgetown sailing program was split among three regattas this weekend, as the co-ed squad finished second at the St. Mary's Team Race Intersectional and 11th at the Admiral Moore, while the women were eighth at the Navy Spring Women's Intersectional.
At the St. Mary's Team Race, the Hoyas went 7-2 in the first round on Saturday, only one win behind Hobart/William Smith (8-1). However, the second round on Sunday was wiped out because they failed to complete all the races, making Saturday's first round the regatta's final results. Georgetown had been undefeated on the second day and sitting in first place while the second round was cancelled.
At the Admiral Moore, hosted by the New York Maritime Academy, the Hoyas were 11th with 126 points. The women were eighth at the Navy Spring Women's Intersectional, hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy, with 186 points.
