Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown women's tennis lost a 7-0 decision to the Mountaineers of West Virginia today at McDonough Tennis Complex. The Hoyas drop to 2-6 on the season, 1-4 in BIG EAST play.
The duo of sophomores Liz Winokur (West Palm Beach, Fla./Cardinal Newman) and Adriann Gin (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) put up a good fight in their match at the second doubles flight, losing in a, 7-2, in the tiebreaker.
The Hoyas return to the court Sunday, April 2 when they travel to Longwood for a non-conference match at 11 a.m.
