Junior Chelsea Curtis (Mashpee, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) shot a four-over par 76 and is tied for fourth place, leading the Georgetown women's golf team to a fifth place standing after the first day of play at the Princeton Invitational, being held at the Springdale Country Club in New Jersey.

The Hoyas are in fifth place with a 32-over par 320 in the field of 14 teams. Princeton leads the field at 13-over par 301, followed by Columbia (25-over par 313), Yale and Harvard (27-over par 315).

Curtis is one of two golfers tied for fourth place and is five strokes off the pace of Princeton's Susannah Aboff, who leads the field of 82 golfers at one-under par 71.

Senior Katie Dwyer (Allentown, Pa./Moravian Academy) is tied for 13th place at seven-over par 79, while senior Jenna Winokur (Springlake, N.J./Wall) is tied for 28th place at 10-over par 82. Junior Carly Hunt (Easton, Pa./Conestoga) is tied for 32nd place at 11-over par 83 and sophomore Robyn English (Warwick, R.I./St. Mary Academy) is tied for 59th place at 15-over par 87.

Final round action will start on Sunday morning starting at 8:30 a.m.
