Georgetown Women Fall to Orange, 7-0

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Georgetown University women's tennis team (1-2, 1-1) fell to Syracuse, 7-0 on Sunday at the Drumlins Tennis Complex, to split their weekend BIG EAST Conference matches in Syracuse, N.Y.

Against the Orange, the Hoyas', who have played three matches in as many days, struggled, falling 7-0 to the undefeated Orange. GU fell to 0-3 against Syracuse this decade.

The duo of Cohen and Olsen, picked up the Hoyas lone victory, defeating Christina Tan and Simone Kalhorn, 8-3 at the top doubles position, but the Orange's Ashley Spicer and Jacquelynn Tang squeaked out an, 8-6 win over Sebia and Thiels to take the team doubles point.

The Orange were able to sweep the singles competition, not dropping a set in the process.
