Drexel Head Coach James Flint On Greg Monroe:
He's a good player, I saw him throughout high school, so I new the deal with him. He's a guy who'll be a high draft pick, he's a good basketball player, not just a good athlete. He knows what he's doing and he has a good feel for the game.

On Georgetown:
They're bigger than we are. I think you can see that. They're a little bit bigger than we are a little bit more physical and just better as a team. I bet after the [Georgetown vs Jacksonville game] the other night someone said "we can't play like this, we have to step up the intensity" and we didn't match their intensity today.

On how Georgetown won:
They didn't even need to run the offense, they just knocked balls out, got steals and got lay-ups. They did everything in transition. One of our things was we wanted to run our offense. We didn't want them to get the ball out in transition because it becomes that much harder to stop the offense. We just threw the ball to them.

Comparing Drexel's play against Georgetown with their win against Penn on Tuesday:
The Penn guys said we were really physical. That's why Penn plays in the Ivy League, we play in the CAA and Georgetown plays in the BIG EAST. But again we had 12 turnovers and three came in the last minutes when we dropped the ball out of bounds. Tonight we had 17 and they took advantage of it. Physically we didn't meet the challenge against these guys.

Georgetown Head Coach John Thompson III
On Greg Monroe:
Greg is an unselfish player. He does a good job of making decisions on when it's his turn and when it's his teammates' turn. He is going to continue to get better obviously relative to most incoming freshmen he's had two pretty good games. He learns, he understands what we're doing. He understands what we are trying to accomplish. He understands the best way to facilitate that and make that happen relative to himself along with his teammates.

On Georgetown guard play:
It's (Chris Wrights) and Jessie's responsibility to make sure we run our stuff. Relative to the last game we made progress and in that we stayed with what we are doing and what we should do longer. We didn't break it off as quickly or look for a quick hitter, so we were able to get better shots than we did last game.

On Georgetown's play:
With this group, we have the ability to get into the paint and to get to the rim off of cuts, off of post ups, off of penetration, off of passes. That is a focal point for us. What we also have to focus on doing is getting into the paint more than once a possession. They have been passing the ball very well. They have been making the extra pass and looking for their teammates. We have to continue to keep doing that and get a few rebounds every now and then we will figure everything else out.

Jessie Sapp
on Georgetown's strategy:
Going back to last game, we shot a pretty fair amount of three's, today we just wanted to get the ball inside a little more.

on rebounding:
As far as rebounding, I think the last game (Jacksonville) we got 18, 19 defensive rebounds; we worked on that since the last game in practice. We tried to go after the ball, we tried to limit them to one shot. We did that throughout the whole week of practice and wanted to make sure it crossed over into the game.

on Drexel's defense:
Whether they play man or zone, we are going to run our offense. We have stuff for man, zone, or whatever other defense they are going to run. We have answers for it all, we just have to run it the right way and stick with it no matter what they are doing.

Chris Wright
on his teammate's ability to finish:
If the assist is there, I am going to take advantage of it but I think it was just the flow of the game to throw that pass or those passes. I am not really coming down saying I am going to throw and alley-oop right here. I am just looking to make the right play.

On Austin's game against Drexel:
I just wanted to stay aggressive. My teammates found me and I got my shot. I felt like I tried to force a couple last game, but today I tried to stay within our team concept.
