Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University women's basketball team will host the Fordham University Rams (3-3) on Wednesday in an 8 p.m., matchup at McDonough Arena. The Hoyas are 5-1 on the season after splitting at the Ayres Hotel Thanksgiving Classic last weekend. Georgetown kicks off a tough segment of the schedule playing three games over the course of five days.

Returners Shanice Fuller, Krystle Hatton and Meredith Cox have contributed at key moments while Adria Crawford, Latia Magee and Rubylee Wright have already made an impact as freshmen. Crawford currently ranks first in the BIG EAST in offensive rebounds and fourth in total rebounds.
The Hoyas are 4-3 against in seven total meetings against Fordham. Wednesday marks the fourth time in as many years that the squads will meet. In this recent four-game series, Georgetown is currently 2-1. Last year, GU won 89-43 at Rose Hill Gym. Kieraah Marlow led the Hoyas with 25 points while Cox had 12 and Karee Houlette contributed 11. Jaleesa Butler was second in rebounding with seven to her credit. GU began the game with a 16-0 run that led to the eventual victory.
