Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University women's tennis team added Lauren Greco (Oakmont, Pa./Shady Side Academy) to their spring roster Head Coach Gordie Ernst announced. The University of Miami transfer was one of the top recruits in the nation before joining the Hurricanes in the fall of 2008.

Last year at Miami, she finished her first collegiate fall campaign with victories over players from William & Mary, Harvard, Penn State, Ohio State, Arkansas and Florida International.

After lettering four seasons at Shady Side Academy, Greco finished senior year undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the state of Pennsylvania. The team captain also captured the 2007 Singles State Championship after finishing fourth in 2005 and third in 2006. Greco was also ranked No. 1 in the Middle States section during her junior and senior years and she ranked as the No. 68 player in the USTA 18's-and-Under division
