WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University volleyball team (13-15, 3-9 BIG EAST) was not able to send seniors Courtney Cohen, Jessica Hardy and Kiersten McKoy out on a victorious note, as the three were in uniform for the last time at McDonough Arena for a 3-1 (23-25,22-25,25-22,20-25) loss to the Louisville Cardinals on Sunday afternoon at McDonough Arena.

The three seniors were honored prior to the game, as Cohen, the lone senior to play, finished with four kills and one block assist.

Courtney Cohen (Tampa, Fla./Berkeley Prep) had two kills in two attempts during the second set, wh ile Lindsay Wise (Raleigh, N.C./Raleigh Charter) had three total blocks. It was not enough to overcome Lecia Brown's five kills, as Louisville took the second set 25-22.

Georgetown responded in the third set, as Malone had 16 assists, helping Robinson and Dorismond each terminate six balls. Dorismond hit .625 and Robinson hit .455, as the Hoyas led for the entire set. The Blue and Gray would lead by as many as five, before Louisville would close the gap to as little as one point, at 22-21. After a Georgetown timeout at 23-22, Robinson had two consecutive kills to give Georgetown a 25-22 third set victory.

The Cardinals would answer back in the fourth set, opening up a 3-0 lead to start and leading for the entire set. The Hoyas would rally late closing the set to 21-20 on consecutive kills from Dorismond, but Louisville would score the next four points to close out the set, 25-20 and the match, 3-1.
