WASHINGTON - Junior Monica McNutt (Suitland, Md./Academy of the Holy Cross) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after an outstanding week for the Hoyas who went 2-0. McNutt averaged 19.0 ppg and 5.0 steals per game as Georgetown defeated Southwest Baptist and Richmond. It marks her third-career nod to the conference's weekly honor roll.

The guard shot 87.5 percent from the arc over two games going 7-of-8 from three. She also averaged 4.5 rpg and 1.5 apg. In the win over Richmond, McNutt led the way with a career-high 24 points going 8-of-9 from the field and 3-of-4 at the line. She also had five steals against the Spiders and ranked second on the squad in rebounding pulling down six boards.

In the victory over Southwest Baptist she scored 14 points and went 6-of-8 from the field, while also tallying a team-high five steals.

Georgetown is 9-2 on the season and on an eight-game win streak, a feat unmatched since the 1992-93 season.
