WASHINGTON - Hello Friends, Family and Fans!

This is Kortney Robinson (those on the team call me Robi), a senior outside hitter from Pleasant Grove, Utah. Let me first tell you how excited I am to inform everyone that the Hoyas are done with two-a-days! YAY!!! Our team has been working our butts off since August 9 in preparation for the upcoming season and our hard work is about to pay off. We are so excited to be able to finally put the past few weeks of sweat, sore muscles, and hard work into action on the court as we get ready to take on George Washington tomorrow at 5 p.m.

Preseason has been grueling and intense, both mentally and physically but the work ethic and attitude I have seen from each of our players has me excited to get into the gym every day. We constantly push each other to work harder, take on new challenges, and reach higher goals. I can honestly say that this group of girls has heart. There is no question in my mind that we are all on the same page and are all working toward the same common goal: to WIN!!!

Come support us this weekend during the DC Challenge tournament. We play at 5 p.m. tomorrow, August 27 vs. George Washington at American University. We also play at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 28 at George Mason. Thanks for all your love and support! GO HOYAS!
