WASHINGTON - Hey Hoyas!

My name is Brooke Bachesta and I am a freshman outside hitter from Sammamish, Wash. In my first experience with collegiate volleyball, I am having an awesome time. It's a lot of hard work but everyone is definitely buying in, and we are starting to see some great results.
After a tough week of practice and a weekend on the road, we were able to beat VCU in their home gym this past Tuesday. We came together and put up a great team effort to come home with a win--it was a great game! We're hoping to keep this winning streak alive!
Our next game is this Friday against Binghamton, and it will mark the beginning of our home tournament, the Georgetown Classic. We're looking forward to getting some more in-game experience before the BIG EAST season starts. Hoping to see a ton of fans at our Friday game for our Jam the Gym event!
