WASHINGTON - Sophomore Lindsay Wise (Raleigh, N.C./Raleigh Charter) of the Georgetown University volleyball team (9-6) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second consecutive week.

In four games last week, Wise averaged 3.11 kills per set and 1.47 blocks per set. Wise recorded a career-high 19 kills in the win against VCU on Sept. 14. In the Sept. 18 win over ECU, Wise notched 15 kills, a .591 hitting percentage and seven total blocks.

This season, Wise is second on the squad with 147 kills, averaging 2.58 kills per set. Wise's .296 hitting percentage is second on the squad among the hitters. Wise leads the team with 84 total blocks on the season.

Wise and the Hoyas return to action Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. against UMBC at McDonough Arena.
