WASHINGTON - WASHINGTON - Junior Joan Dulieu (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Detroit Country Day) tied for 15th place overall and the Georgetown University women's golf team finished in seventh place overall at the Badger Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin at the University Ridge Golf Course.
Host Wisconsin won the tournament, carding an overall score of 15-over par 879 and led the field of 11 teams by two strokes, ahead of second place Augusta State (17-over par 881). The University of Iowa finished in third place at 30-over par 894, and Xavier placing fourth with a final score of 38-over par 902. Georgetown University finished in seventh place posting a 58-over par 922.
Dulieu posted scores of 5-over par 77, 1-over par 73, and a 3-over par 75 to finish at 9-over par 225 and was one of three players tied for 15th place overall.
Sophomore Jordan Redfield (Ft. Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) shot a 7-over par 79 in her final round and finished in 28th place with an overall score of 16-over par 232. Junior Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) carded an 8-over par 80 in her third and final round to finish 17-over par 233 and tied for 29th place.
Freshman Alice Choi (Whitestone, N.Y./Holy Cross) tied for 34th place at 19-over par 235 (two rounds of 6-over par 78, and one round of 7-over par 79) and sophomore Audrey Dalton (Portland, Ore./St. Mary's Academy) tied for 54th place at 28-over par 244.
Playing as an individual, freshman Molly Plomaritis (Boston, Mass./Grimsley [N.C.]) is in 60th place at 55-over par 271.
