WASHINGTON - The Georgetown Men's Soccer home schedule kicks off this Friday and is full of great promotions and events for local youth and Georgetown fans! Admission to all weekday, regular season matches is free, and tickets to Saturday and Sunday matches are only $5 per person!
The Georgetown Hoyas open their season against the Harvard Crimson on Friday, September 5th at 4pm. The first 300 fans in attendance will receive a FREE Men's Soccer schedule t-shirt. Admission is free so arrive early and come cheer on our soccer team!
For the second match of the season on September 7th, the Hoyas will be playing the Wisconsin Badgers at 1pm. At the conclusion of this match, there will be a post-match autograph session with the whole team on the field.
On September 14th, Georgetown will be facing off against UC Irvine. All Boy Scouts wearing their uniform will receive free admission for the match, as well as a Georgetown Scout Day Patch for their uniform. This match will also be a part of our "Bring your `A' Game" promotion at Georgetown Athletics. All kids who show an `A' on their report card or graded assignment will get into the match for FREE! After the match, the Coaching staff and members of the team will be holding a skills clinic for all kids under the age of 14. The Hoyas will be holding another youth soccer promotional day on Sunday, September 21st at 4pm as they play against William and Mary. All kids who wear their youth soccer jerseys will be able to get into the match for free!
On Saturday, October 4th at 1pm, the Hoyas will be hosting Marquette for our Alumni Weekend. The Men's Soccer team will welcome past players for this match and honor them throughout the day. There will also be a pregame sustainability information fair outside at the match presented by The Football Club and Georgetown's Office of Sustainability. Come stop by to learn more about how the Hoyas are going GREEN for the upcoming season!
To close out the season, the Hoyas will be playing St. Johns for the senior's last home match. The Hoyas will be hosting Youth Soccer teams from the DC metro area and will invite them to stand on the field for the National Anthem. After the match, the teams in attendance will be able to take a picture with Hoya players. To register a team, please contact nm707@georgetown.edu.
