WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University volleyball team plays its final two road matches of the season when it travels to DePaul and Marquette for a pair of BIG EAST matches. Friday's matchup with the Blue Demons is set for 8 p.m. ET, while first serve against the Golden Eagles on Saturday is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

The Hoyas (10-16, 4-9 BIG EAST) split a pair of road BIG EAST matches last weekend. GU defeated Seton Hall (3-2) before falling to Villanova (3-0). Senior Lauren Saar (Richland, Mich./Plainwell) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 2.75 kills per set and 1.75 digs per set. She recorded her fifth double-double of the season, and 27th of her career, against Seton Hall with 13 kills and 15 digs. Against the Pirates, both Symone Speech (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) and Paige McKnight (Atlanta, Ga./Dunwoody) set career highs. Speech finished with a career-high 17 kills and McKnight hit a career-best nine kills, while also registering 50 assists for the fourth time this season. Additionally, Liv King (Ardmore, Pa./Lower Merion) recorded her first-career double-double with 15 kills and 11 digs.

For the season, Alyssa Sinnette (Pearland, Texas/Dawson) leads the Hoyas with 323 kills and 3.51 kills per set. Speech leads the front court with 0.75 blocks per set and has a team-high .308 hitting percentage. McKnight is averaging 9.71 assists per set and leads the team with 35 service aces, while Kenzie Higareda (Woodbridge, Va./Forest Park) is atop the defense with 4.50 digs per set.

DePaul enters Friday's contest with a 14-11 overall record, but has just two wins in BIG EAST play. Last month, the Hoyas defeated the Blue Demons in five sets, holding on after taking a 2-0 lead in the match. King (18), Sinnette (17) and Saar (13) all finished in double figures in kills, while Higareda had a match-high 22 digs. Brittany Maxwell leads the offense with 2.69 kills per set and Caitlyn Coffey is right behind her with 2.56. Colleen Smith is averaging 9.80 assists per set, while Callie Huebener leads the BIG EAST with 37 service aces. Defensively, DePaul is led by Tyler Graham with 3.40 digs per set.

Marquette enters the weekend at 18-7 overall and 9-3 in conference action. The Golden Eagles will play Creighton on Friday evening. Last month, Marquette defeated GU, 3-0, at McDonough Arena despite match highs from Sinnette (11 kills) and McKnight (35 assists). The Golden Eagles are led by freshman Taylor Louis, who leads the conference with 457 kills and 5.08 kills per set. Lauren Houg is also atop the entire BIG EAST with 5.08 digs per set, while Sara Blasler is third in the conference with 10.58 assists per set and Jelena Rosenthal is fourth with 1.17 blocks per set.

Following this weekend, Georgetown will close out the regular season with three home matches at McDonough Arena. The Hoyas will host Butler (Friday, Nov. 13) and Xavier (Sunday, Nov. 15) next weekend before closing out the schedule against Creighton (Friday, Nov. 20) in a match broadcasted on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
