WASHINGTON - For the second-consecutive week, Georgetown University volleyball freshman Alyssa Sinnette (Pearland, Texas/Dawson) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Monday. The award recognizes Sinnette's efforts in Georgetown's three matches last week.

Sinnette had double-digit kills in all three matches, totaling 49 kills to lead the Hoyas to a 2-1 record. She averaged 4.45 kills per set as well as 1.73 digs per set while adding two service aces and two blocks. After recording 15 kills in a 3-0 win over Morgan State and 12 kills versus Kent State, Sinnette recorded her third double-double of the season with a match-high 22 kills and 12 digs in GU's big 3-1 victory over SEC-opponent Georgia on Friday. For Sinnette, who leads the Hoyas with a 3.80 kills per set average, it was her second 20-kill effort and she has now recorded double figures in kills in each of the past seven matches and eight of nine matches this season.

Monday was both Sinnette's and Georgetown's second BIG EAST weekly award of the season as she was also named to the honor roll last week.
