Xavier put together another strong start in the third set, opening with 4-1 lead before the Hoyas closed the gap to a 5-4 deficit. Runs of 9-4 and 5-2 from XU put the hosts up 20-9 before the Musketeers wrapped up the match with a 25-14 win.
Abbey Bressler led Xavier with a match-high 12 kills while Meredith Klare led all players with 10 digs.
