WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball team sophomore guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Monday. Adomako helped lead the Hoyas to a pair of road victories this past weekend, extending GU's winning streak to three games.

Adomako averaged 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in victories over Creighton and Providence. Against the Friars on Friday, the sophomore led the way for the Hoyas with a season-high 24 points, one shy of her career best. She set a new career high with 10 made field goals, including two from 3-point range. On Sunday versus the Bluejays, Adomako had seven points, three assists and a game-high nine rebounds. Five of her seven points came in the second half as Georgetown held off a late Creighton charge.

This is Adomako's fifth nod to the honor roll this season and sixth of her career. Overall, the Hoyas have earned seven selections to the honor roll this year. The Hoyas will return home to McDonough Arena for a pair of home games next weekend, hosting Marquette University and DePaul University. Tipoff versus the Golden Eagles on Friday is set for 7 p.m. while Sunday's contest against the Blue Demons will start at noon. Both games will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
