WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball junior guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after helping the Hoyas (15-9, 7-7 BIG EAST) to a 1-1 week in conference play. It is the fourth-consecutive week that a Hoya has been on the honor roll.

Adomako averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and .571 shooting percentage for the weekend. The junior totaled 18 points and two boards in a 77-60 victory at Seton Hall on Friday. On Sunday, she led the team with 21 points and five rebounds in a tough 65-54 loss at St. John's.

The guard is second on the team and fifth in the BIG EAST in scoring averaging 14.6 ppg. She ranks second in rebounds with 6.7 rpg which sits her at sixth in the league. Adomako is also second on the squad with 28 blocks which puts her at eighth in the league.

This is Adomako's sixth-career nod to the honor roll, and her first this season. In her career, she has earned 12 total weekly honors. The guard was a unanimous Preseason All-BIG EAST selection this season, and Second Team All-BIG EAST a season ago. It is Georgetown's seventh weekly recognition and sixth nod to the honor roll this year.

The Hoyas will head home next weekend for its final two games at McDonough Arena. Georgetown will host Butler University on Friday at 7 p.m., and Xavier University on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games will air live on the BIG EAST Digital Network and live stats will be available at www.GUHoyas.com.
