March 1, 2017

White earned a spot on the second team, while Adomake was named honorable mention. The awards were voted on by the league's head coaches.

This is White's second-career honor after earning a spot on the second team last year as well as a place on the BIG EAST All-Freshman team. Earlier this season, White was a unanimous Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.

The guard is currently leading the team in scoring, averaging 15.1 ppg to rank fourth in the conference. White has earned two nods to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this season. She has 22 games in double digits and one double-double on the year. She is moving up the all-time rankings in a number of categories and currently sits at No. 5 with 89 steals this season.

This is Adomako's second-career conference award after earning a spot on the second team a season ago. As a freshman, she was the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year and earlier this season she was selected Preseason All-BIG EAST.

Adomako ranks second on the team in scoring with 14.8 ppg which sits her at fifth in the league. She is pulling down 6.4 rpg, and has 33 blocks on the season as well as 16 steals. The guard has three double-doubles so far this season and has scored in double figures 21 times this year.

Adomako was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week on Dec. 12, and has earned two nods to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this season. She also hit the 1,000 point and 500 rebound milestones earlier this year. Adomako is No. 16 on GU's all-time scoring list with 1,198 points, and has 79 career blocks.
