Georgetown Heads to Eastern Sprints

May 12, 2017

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's men's rowing team heads up to Worcester, Mass., to take part in the Eastern Sprints on Sunday. The Hoyas will race three heavyweight 8+ boats and three 8+ lightweight crews.

Live results and a video stream of the races can be found on www.GUHoyas.com.

Heavyweights
Georgetown's third varsity 8+ boat opens action for the heavyweights in the only six-boat heat of the division. The Hoyas race Princeton, Boston University, Wisconsin, Cornell and Rutgers from lane five. A showdown with Princeton, Dartmouth, Wisconsin, Cornell and Holy Cross highlight the third heat of the varsity 8+ race before the Blue & Gray wraps up preliminary races against BU, Princeton, GW, Columbia and Holy Cross in the second varsity 8+ event.
