WASHINGTON – Fresh off a record-setting performance, the Georgetown University women's golf team will travel to the West Coast for the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington. The two-day, three-round tournament will be played Oct. 9-10, at the par-72, 6,014 yard Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington.
The Hoyas will tee off in Tuesday morning's first round from the 10th hole, beginning at noon ET. The second round will begin right after the conclusion of the first 18 holes. Teams will tee off from the first and 10th holes on Wednesday, beginning at 11 a.m. ET. A link to live scoring is available at GUHoyas.com
Georgetown is part of a strong 12-team field that includes BYU, Hawaii, Iowa, Long Beach State, Oregon State, Pepperdine, Rutgers, San Francisco, Seattle, UC Davis and Washington.

Ashley Fitzgibbons (Sammamish, Wash. / Eastlake Senior) will return to her hometown, while sophomore
Elizabeth Nguyen (Pinehurst, N.C. / Pinecrest) has qualified her way back into the lineup.
The Hoyas are coming off a second-place finish at the Princeton Invitational last weekend. Georgetown set a program record for a 36-hole tournament, turning in a 20-over par 596 with rounds of 297 and 299, the squad's top two individual rounds of the season. Parsells, playing in her home state, was GU's top finisher as she tied for third overall with an even-par 144. She was the individual leader after the first round when she tied a Georgetown record and her career best with a 5-under par 67.
Following the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, the Hoyas will return to the East Coast to close out the fall season at the Blue Hen Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware, Oct. 20-21.
