– The Georgetown University men's basketball team closes out its three-game homestand on Monday when it hosts the Liberty University Flames at Capital One Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and a link to live stats is available at GUHoyas.com.
The game will be shown live on FS2 with John Fanta providing the play-by-play and Sarah Kustok providing analysis. The game can be heard locally on The Team 980 with Rich Chvotkin in his 45th season calling the game.
The Hoyas (6-1) are coming off a 90-82 victory over Richmond to remain perfect at home on the season. Senior Jessie Govan

(Oakland, Calif. / Salesian College Preparatory) tallied 13 to go with six assists on the evening while senior Greg Malinowski
(Chantilly, Va. / Episcopal / William & Mary) chipped in his GU-best 10 points as he went 4 of 6 from the field and added seven rebounds. Junior Jagan Mosely
(Marlboro, N.J. / St. Anthony) paced the offense with a career-best eight assists.
Through seven games, Govan is among the BIG EAST leaders, ranking fourth in the conference in scoring (19.9 ppg) and tied for seventh in rebounding (7.3 rpg). Akinjo leads all players in the BIG EAST with 38 assists, while classmate Josh LeBlanc
(Baton Rouge, La. / Madison Prep Academy) leads the league in field goal percentage (.778).
Liberty enters Monday's game with a 7-1 record following a 78-52 win against Georgia State on Saturday. Elijah Cuffee and Caleb Homesley led the way in the win with 19 points apiece while Scottie James posted a career-high 17 rebounds. James leads a quartet averaging double figures with 11.9 ppg and has pulled down a team-high 9.9 rpg. Darius McGhee is behind James with 11.5 ppg, followed by Cuffee with 10.5 ppg and Lovell Cabbil averages 10.0 ppg.
This is the second meeting between Georgetown and Liberty. The Hoyas defeated the Flames 68-59 in the 2012-13 season and hold a 7-2 overall record against opponents from the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Following the matchup against the Flames, the Hoyas will travel to Syracuse, New York to take on the Orange on Saturday, Dec. 8. Tipoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. and the game will be shown live on ESPN.
