WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's men's lightweight rowing team returns to the water on Saturday as its takes on Navy for the Forster Cup while the heavyweights head out west to take part in the two-day Stanford Invitational.
Lightweight
Georgetown will take the short trip to the Severn River on Saturday to take on Navy for the Forster Cup. With three varisty 8 races slated for the day, the Hoyas and Midshipmen will kick things off for the trophy at 7:30 a.m. Navy hosts the Blue & Gray ranked No. 6 in the USRowing Collegiate Poll while the Hoyas head to Annapolis ranked 10th.

Heavyweight
Georgetown travels west to take part in the two-day Stanford Invitational in Redwood Shores, California on Saturday and Sunday. The Hoyas, ranked No. 18 in the USRowing Collegiate Poll, take on Hobart and Oregon State on Saturday while going up against the host No. 12 Cardinal on Sunday. Georgetown will race two varsity 8 boats in the event.
