NCAA Kissimmee Regional Final

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's men's golf team closed out the 2018 NCAA Kissimmee Regional with a third round score of 295 to finish in 13th place with a 54-holde total of 882. The Hoyas made their fourth appearance all-time in the NCAA postseason following their second BIG EAST Championship in the last three years.

Eduardo Blochtein (Delray Beach, Fla./Spanish River) led the Hoyas with a three round score of 217 to tie for 45th while Patrick DiPasquale (Rochester, N.Y./McQuaid Jesuit) shot a 221 to tie for 58th. Jack Musgrave (Chesterton, Ind./Andrean) was a shot off from DiPasquale, tying for 61st at 222, Cole Berman (Philadelphia, Pa./The Haverford School) carded a 224 to sit 67th and Sam Madsen (Madison, Wis./Edgewood/Cardinal Gibbons [Fla.]) tied for 70th with a 227.

Florida (822), host UCF (834), Vanderbilt (842), North Carolina (843) and Kent State (844) all advance to the NCAA Championship in Stillwater, Oklahoma, after all finishing in the top five with under-20 par scores. Arizona (846), Colorado State (848), South Florida (852), Purdue (853), Coastal Carolina (859) and St. Mary's (Calif.) all shot under par for the tournament as well. Jacksonville State (872), Georgetown (882) and Central Connecticut State (895) rounded out the field at the par-72, 7,154 yard Watson Course at Reunion Resort.

Seniors Berman, Madsen and Musgrave close out their collegiate careers as one of the most successful classes in program history. The trio have won two BIG EAST Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament twice while combining for five All-BIG EAST honors and five All-Region recognitions. All three Hoyas played in every tournament Georgetown competed in during their four years on the Hilltop.

Georgetown's future is bright with sophomores Blochtein and DiPasquale returning to the Nation's Capital next season. In all, eight Hoyas will be back on the course in 2018-19.
