WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's women's rowing team heads to Mercer Lake in West Windsor, New Jersey to take part in the 2018 Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship Regatta from June 2-3. The squad will race three boats in the event, including a lightweight varsity eight, a lightweight varsity four and a lightweight double.
The lightweight double opens competition on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. in Heat 1 against MIT, Princeton and Boston University with a repechage taking place at 11:15 a.m. to determine Sunday's grand finale at 8 a.m.
A lone heat each for the lightweight varsity four and lightweight varsity eight will take place at 8:20 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., respectively, to determine lanes for Sunday's grand finals at 8:50 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. The varsity four crew will both take on Stanford, Princeton, Boston University, Harvard Radcliffe, MIT and Wisconsin.
