WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women's basketball graduate student guard
Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va. / Cosby) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll the league announced on Monday. It is the sixth weekly honor for the Hoyas this season and the fifth nod to the honor roll. This is the fourth accolade for Adomako and the 12th of her career.
Adomako tied for the league's single-game scoring high this week with a career-best 28 points to go along with 11 rebounds and two assists in Georgetown's 68-63 win over Villanova on Saturday. She also managed a steal and a block in the victory.
Adomako is second on the team and ranks fifth in the BIG EAST with 15.4 ppg. Her 7.7 rpg tie her for first for the Hoyas and fifth in the league. She also has 29 blocks to rank third on the team and third in the league. For the season, Adomako has managed 23 steals and 27 assists.
The Blue & Gray will hit the road on Friday to Queens, New York to take on the St. John's Red Storm. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena. The game will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) and live stats will be available at
