BEALLSVILLE, Md. – The Georgetown University men's golf team shot rounds of 305 and 291 to sit in ninth place after the first day of the 35th Georgetown Intercollegiate played at Four Streams on Monday.
HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
• Georgetown's 14-stroke difference between the first two rounds led all teams in the field.

Eduardo Blochtein shot matching rounds of 72 to finish at 2-over par 144 and tied for 14th place.
•
Hardin Councill cut 10 strokes off his first round score to card a team-best 69 in the second round to tie for 29th at 148.
•
David Rogers shot a pair of 75s to tie for 43rd,
Patrick DiPasquale tied for 56th with a 154 and
Will O'Neill is 67th at 157.
• Playing as individuals, Noa Moss is tied for 36th at 149,
Matt Barnes is tied for 48th at 151 with teammate
Brad Whitaker,
Taso Scilaris is tied for 56th at 154,
Tim Rotermund is tied for 61st at 155 and
Pieter DeGroot is 71st with a 162.
WHERE THE TEAM STANDS
• Washington leads the field with a 5-under par 563, the only team to shoot below par on the day. Loyola Maryland (+4, 572) is second followed by Princeton and Florida Atlantic tied for third (+11, 579). Butler and William & Mary are tied for fifth (+12, 580) while Saint Joseph's (+16, 584), Seton Hall (+18, 586), Georgetown (+28, 596), Rhode Island (+29, 597), DePaul (+31, 599) and Creighton (+38, 606) round out the field.
• The third and final round begins at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
• Georgetown is paired with Seton Hall and Saint Joseph's, teeing off from hole No. 10.
