WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-17) decision to visiting No. 12 Marquette in BIG EAST action on Saturday night. The Hoyas fall to 12-10 overall and 2-6 in league play.

HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
•    Iva Vujosevic tied a match high with 11 kills on the night. She has posted double-digit kills in 16 matches this season.
•    Peyton Wilhite added four kills, Elissa Barbosa had three and both Riley Wertzberger and Charlotte Kelly chipped in a pair.
•    Emma Plutnicki tallied 16 assists for the Blue & Gray.
•    Jessica Cusi anchored the back row with nine digs.
•    Kace Boland was credited with a pair of blocks at the net.

MARQUETTE NOTES
•    The Golden Eagles improved to 17-3 overall and 7-1 in BIG EAST play.
•    Allie Barber matched Vujosevic's 11 kills to tie for the match high.
•    Hoper Werch had nine kills and Hannah Vanden Berg added eight.
•    Martha Konovodoff led all players with 11 digs.

SIDE OUT
Georgetown returns to the Midwest for a pair of matches next weekend, taking on Xavier on Friday, Oct. 25 in Cincinnati before facing Butler on Sunday, Oct. 27 in Indianapolis.
