WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team shot rounds of 298 and 293 to sit in 11th place after the first day of the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, hosted by NC State at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday.
HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
• Georgetown's three senior captains paced the Blue & Gray on the day.

Patrick DiPasquale shot a pair of even-par rounds of 72 to tie for 22nd overall at 144.
•
Hardin Councill sits tied for 45th with matching rounds of 74 for a 148 total.
•
Eduardo Blochtein is a shot back of Councill, shooting 76 and 73 for a 149 total to tie for 49th.
• Georgetown's two freshmen in the field are just one stroke off of each other.
•
Pieter DeGroot is tied for 60th at 151 and
David Rogers is tied for 67th at 152.
WHERE THE TEAM STANDS
• Campbell (-18, 558) leads the field, followed by host NC State (-14, 562) and UNC Greensboro (-12, 564). Augusta (-3, 573), UNC Wilmington (-3, 573), Furman (-2, 574) and Elon (-1, 575) are all under par after 36 holes. The middle of the pack includes Maryland (+4, 580), Southern Illinois (+6, 582), Virginia Tech (+9, 585) and the Hoyas (+15, 591) while High Point (+17, 593), Jacksonville (+22, 598), George Mason (+23, 599) and Ohio (+29, 605) round out the field.
• The third and final round begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
• Georgetown is paired with High Point and Virginia Tech, teeing off from hole No. 10.
