KEY STATS
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a scoreless first quarter, the Hoyas capitalized on a missed Colgate field goal to take the lead. Johnson completed passes of 15, 8 and 20 yards for first downs before getting into the end zone himself on a 28-yard run to give GU a 7-0 lead.
  • The Raiders tied the game on the next drive and the teams went into halftime tied 7-7.
  • Colgate scored 17-consecutive points over the third and fourth quarters to take a 24-7 lead.
  • Johnson completed a 64-yard catch-and-run to Michael Dereus before finding Tomas in the end zone for a 7-yard touchdown.
  • The Hoyas attempted an onside kick, but could not recover it as Colgate held onto the ball for almost the remainder of the game.

OF NOTE
  • Johnson's rushing touchdown was the 14th of his career, moving him into sole possession of ninth place on Georgetown's all-time list.
  • His 190 total yards of offense gives him 4,720 for his career, moving him up to third all-time.
