WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team fell to visiting ninth-ranked Creighton 3-0 (27-25, 25-17, 25-15) in BIG EAST action on Saturday night. The Hoyas drop to 13-15 overall and 3-11 in league play.
HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
• Georgetown rallied back from a 24-21 deficit in the first set to force extended play before eventually falling 27-25.
• No. 9 Creighton was the third nationally-ranked opponent the Hoyas faced this season.

Elissa Barbosa led the Hoyas with seven kills while
Iva Vujosevic and
Peyton Wilhite both had five.
Makayla Serrett,
Jewell Johnson and
Margo Snipe all chipped in four kills as well.

Margo Pivonka paced the offense with 23 assists.
• Defensively,
Jessica Cusi led all players with 13 digs.
• Pivonka added six digs, Vujosevic had five and four other Hoyas recorded four in the match.
• At the net, Johnson registered two solo rejections on the night.
CREIGHTON NOTES
• The Bluejays improved to 20-4 overall and 13-1 in BIG EAST play.
• Keeley Davis led all players with 14 kills.
• Madelyn Cole posted a double-double with 28 assists and 10 digs.
• Cole also had seven service aces to lead all players.
SIDE OUT
Georgetown heads out for its final road swing of the season, travelling to the Midwest to face No. 10 Marquette on Friday in Milwaukee and DePaul on Saturday in Chicago.
