STILLWATER, Okla. – Mac McClung scored a season-high 33 points as the Georgetown University men's basketball team came away with a 81-74 road victory over RV/25 Oklahoma State on Wednesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena. The game was part of the inaugural BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle. With the victory the Hoyas improve to 5-3.

HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
- McClung led all players with 33 points on 12-of-21 shooting, including a 4-for-8 performance from beyond the arc.
- Omer Yurtseven finished with 19 points and just missed out on a double-double with a game-high nine rebounds.
- Terrell Allen scored a season-high 15 points and paced the offense with five assists.
- Georgetown shot 45.3 (29-64) percent from the floor and hit a season-best nine 3-pointers, while outrebounding the Cowboys 43-29.
- The Hoyas went a perfect 14-of-14 from the free throw line, including 5-for-5 performances by both Allen and McClung.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game went back and forth as the score was knotted at 15-15 early, the third tie score of the game. The Hoyas tallied eight unanswered, bolstered by five points from McClung and capped by a Jahvon Blair trey, to take the 23-15 advantage with 11:56 on the clock.
- A scoring drought plagued both squads but Galen Alexander broke it up with a triple from the right side to put the Blue & Gray up 26-17.
- The Hoyas maintained breathing room through the final few minutes of the frame and took a 36-32 lead into the break as McClung's 15 points led the first half effort.
- Georgetown started the second half with a pair of buckets, one apiece from McClung and Yurtseven, to push the advantage to eight (40-32).
- The Cowboys would not go away and tied the game at 48 before taking the 53-48 lead.
- McClung led the Hoyas on a 13-2 run, tallying 11 points on a pair of free throws and three-straight 3-pointers as GU took a 61-55 lead with 8:27 remaining. .
- Both teams traded buckets as Yurtseven made one from downtown to make it a two-possession game (64-58).
- With the lead cut down to four (71-67), McClung converted a traditional three-point play on a tough layup in traffic to extend the lead to 74-67.
- Following a pair of Oklahoma State free throws, Allen knocked down a key step-back 3-pointer with 38 seconds left. He then hit all four free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.

The Hoyas will wrap up their two-game road trip with a matchup at Southern Methodist University on Saturday, Dec. 7. Tipoff in Dallas, Texas is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast live on ESPNU while fans can listen locally on The Team 980 with Rich Chvotkin on the call.
