COACH CULLEY ON THE MEET
"The athletes and coaches have been looking forward to this season opener since they arrived back on campus. There was an awesome mix of middle and long distance athletes winning a total of five events, with some of those athletes doubling back to pace or running a relay at the end. Our sprinters got that first taste of running rounds in the hurdles by putting in two-to-three races off of their fall base with a collection of top-three finishes, respectively."
"The competitiveness was there as was the demonstration of good form from the fall work. Now it's time for the athletes to finish the academic semester well and find a consistent training rhythm on their own over the holidays, so that we can return a team in January with the fitness background and health to springboard right away at Penn State on Jan. 11 at the Nittany Lion Challenge."
UP NEXT
The Blue & Gray will have a six-week break before both teams will travel to Philadelphia on Jan. 11 for the Penn Challenge, hosted by Penn State.
