It was all GU from there as the Blue & Gray scored the next three goals of the frame as part of five straight to take a 6-1 lead. The Pride would pull within three at 7-4, but a Bucaro goal with two ticks left in the half gave the Hoyas an 8-4 lead going into the break.
Outscoring their hosts 6-2 in the second half, the Hoyas had five different goals scorers in the final 30 minutes of action en route to the 14-6 victory.
Ryan Tierney led Hofstra with three goals. He was the only Pride player to register more than one point on the afternoon.
Georgetown returns home to host Furman on Tuesday, March 5 at noon.
