WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team will compete in the 33rd Annual Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club in New Jersey over the weekend. The Hoyas will play 36 holes on Saturday before wrapping up the event with 18 holes on Sunday. The Springdale Golf Club is a par-71, 6,415-yard course.
Play will begin at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday. Live scoring for all rounds can be found at www.GUHoyas.com.
Other programs participating include the host Tigers, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Loyola Maryland, Penn, Rider, Saint Joseph's, Seton Hall, Temple and Yale.
Georgetown is coming off a ninth-place showing at the FAU Spring Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida last weekend.
Eduardo Blochtein (Delray Beach, Fla. / Spanish River) finished the tournament tied for 12th while
Hardin Councill (High Point, N.C. / Westchester Country Day) tied for 21st.
Blochtein and Councill will tee off as the top two golfers for the Blue & Gray, followed by
Will O'Neill (Morristown, N.J. / Morristown),
Patrick DiPasquale (Rochester, N.Y. / Westchester Country Day) and
Anthony Perrino (Concord, N.C. / The Canon School).
Following the weekend, the Hoyas wrap up the regular season at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State on April 13-14.
