WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team sits in a three-way tie for fourth place after the first day of the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. The Hoyas shot rounds of 283 and 285 for an even-par 568 total, matched by Columbia and Temple.
Eduardo Blochtein (Delray Beach, Fla. / Spanish River) shot a two-round score of 138 (68-70) and is tied for sixth while
Hardin Councill (High Point, N.C. / Westchester Country Day) is tied for 12th at 140 (69-71).
Patrick DiPasquale (Rochester, N.Y. / Westchester Country Day) is tied for 40th at 146 (73-73),
Will O'Neill (Morristown, N.J. / Morristown) is tied for 52nd at 147 (76-71) and
Anthony Perrino (Concord, N.C. / The Canon School) is tied for 64th at 150 (73-77).
Yale (549) leads the field at 19-under par while Penn (556) and Loyola Maryland (566) are second and third, respectively, as the only other teams to shoot under par. Columbia (568), Temple (568) and Georgetown (568) are all even-par and tied for fourth. Seton Hall (571), Princeton (573), Cornell (578), Harvard (579), Brown (580), Saint Joseph's (582) and Rider (582) round out the field.
