WASHINGTON– Georgetown University women's rowing senior Cate O'Leary (St. Paul, Minn.) was named to the Patriot League Academic All-League team as announced on Monday. The senior is an international economics major and a French minor and is one of eleven student-athletes to earn all-league accolades.
 
This season, Georgetown placed third in the Patriot League Championships and the varsity eight boat received two Patriot League boat of the week honors as well as two honorable mentions. Notably, O'Leary and the varsity eight squad claimed the George's Cup and placed third in the Dad Vail Regatta, along with a fourth place finish at the Knecht Cup.
 
O'Leary has made the dean's list three times in her career, with a GPA of 3.5 or above, and has received both second honors and first honors, with a GPA of 3.7 and above and 3.9 and above, respectively.
