WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team closed out nonconference play with a resounding 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-20) sweep over visiting Howard on Sunday afternoon at McDonough Arena. The Hoyas wrap up their non-league slate with a 10-4 overall record and begin BIG EAST play on the road this weekend.
Georgetown 3, Howard 0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-20)
• Georgetown is now 32-2 all-time against Howard in program history.
• The Hoyas pushed their season-high winning streak to seven matches after the sweep over the Bison.

Iva Vujosevic led Georgetown with 13 kills and 13 digs, both match highs, for her fourth double-double of the season.

Margo Snipe and
Brennan Wilhite both added six kills while
Elissa Barbosa chipped in five.

Jessica Cusi posted 11 digs for the Blue & Gray.
• The Hoyas tallied nine service aces against Howard, compared to the Bisons' two. Vujosevic posted five in the match.

Georgetown opens BIG EAST play on the road next weekend, travelling to Rhode Island to face Providence on Friday before heading out to take on No. 15 Creighton on Sunday in Omaha, Nebraska.
