WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team will play its second home tournament in as many weekends to open up the 2019 season, welcoming Marshall, Northern Kentucky and Stony Brook to the Hilltop for the Bulldog Invite. The Hoyas face Marshall in the tournament opener on Friday, Sept. 6 before taking on Northern Kentucky and Stony Brook on Saturday, Sept. 7.

• Four members of the Thundering Herd average at least two kills a set, led by Ciara Debell with 4.09 kps
• Northern Kentucky went 2-1 in its first weekend at the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational, earning wins over South Alabama and the host Mastadons while falling to Western Michigan in five sets
