WASHINGTON – Georgetown University seniors
Eduardo Blochtein and
Margo Snipe were both named 2020 PNC Student-Athlete Achiever Award winners, recognizing well-rounded student-athletes who demonstrate leadership in the classroom and in competition. Blochtein will be recognized at halftime of the men's basketball game against St. John's on Wednesday while Snipe will be honored at a game later this season.
Eduardo Blochtein, Senior Captain, Men's Golf
• Senior tri-captain for the Georgetown men's golf team.
• Named First Team All-BIG EAST as a junior.
• Member of the 2018 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship team as a sophomore.
• Named to BIG EAST All-Academic Team as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
• An International political economy and business major in the McDonough School of Business, boasts a 3.519 cumulative GPA.
Margo Snipe, Senior Captain, Volleyball
• Senior captain for the Georgetown volleyball team.
• Four-year letterwinner and a starter as a junior and senior.
• Serves as the president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
• Named to BIG EAST All-Academic Team as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
• A psychology major in the College with minors in French and journalism, boasts a 3.798 cumulative GPA.
