WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team earned the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team award, as announced by the organization on Thursday. The Hoyas were one of 250 programs in all of NCAA Division I, II and II, as well as NAIA and NJCAA to post a team GPA of 3.00 or above on the season.
One of just four BIG EAST programs to earn the award, the Hoyas joined DePaul, Villanova and Xavier on the list.
Georgetown also recently had five players recognized as Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars.
