Milan Bolden-Morris Added to Women’s Basketball Roster

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Head Women's Basketball Coach James Howard announced the addition of Milan Bolden-Morris to the team on Tuesday. Bolden-Morris will join the squad as a graduate student after graduating from Boston College in December with a degree in communications.

"Milan will impact the game in a variety of ways," said Howard. "Her ability to score the basketball from all three areas on the floor will bring consistency and experience to our backcourt"

  • Averaged 7.5 ppg along with 2.7 rpg in three seasons at Boston College appearing in 85 games with 31 starts to her credit.
  • Had a career-best 20 points at Georgia Tech as a freshman for her career high while scoring 19 points at VCU as a junior.
  • Pulled down nine boards on two occasions for a career best.
  • Scored in double figures in 29 career games and led the squad in scoring nine times.
  • An All-ACC Freshman honoree, Bolden-Morris also set a BC freshman record for season 3-pointers with 80.
  • A member of the All-ACC Honor Roll and won the 2018-19 Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
  • In high school was the Sun Sentinel All-Palm Beach 6A Player of the Year, a three-time Fab Five Player, four-time All-County honoree and named All-State second team as a junior.
  • Is the all-time leading scorer at Cardinal Newman with 2,025 points averaging 22.3 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3.8 steals as a senior.
  • Was the National Honor Society President.
Georgetown will be back in action on Wednesday, January 13 at Butler University in a 2 p.m. matchup on the BIG EAST Digital Network. The Hoyas had three games postponed out of an abundance of caution due to a possible COVID-19 exposure.

All Georgetown women's basketball home games are currently scheduled to be played at McDonough Arena. In accordance with Washington, D.C. regulations which limit the size of in-person gatherings, fans are regrettably not permitted to attend home games at this time.
