WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team finished in eighth place with a 54-hole score of 60-over par 912 at the Yale Invitational. The Hoyas carded rounds of 305, 295 and 312 at the Yale Golf Course par 71 5,972 yards.

Junior Lauren May was GU's top scorer as she tied for eighth place with scores of 68, 71 and 80.

Freshman Sophie Dalfonsi carded scores of 81, 73 and 84 in three rounds of play.

Sophomore Megan Gormley finished tied for 36th place with a total score of 234.

Senior Kaitlyn Lees finished tied for 23rd place with scores of 78, 76 and 73 for a total of 227.

Junior Elena Zheng carded scores of 79, 77 and 80.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

Boston College finished in first place (+14, 886), Boston University and the tournament host Bulldogs tied for second (+25, 877).

The Hoyas finished two strokes behind Harvard (+58, 910) and 39 strokes ahead of the Columbia "B" team (+99, 880).
