WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team in fifth place with a 36-hole score of 27-over par 603 after the first two rounds of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational. The Hoyas carded rounds of 302 and 301 at the 72, 6,169 yard Rehoboth Beach Country Club.Â

Sophomore Megan Gormley and junior Lauren May are GU's top scorers as they are tied for sixth place with total scores of 147.

Junior Esther Park carded scores of 76 and 87 for a total score of 163.

Senior Kaitlyn Lees carded scores of 82 and 73 for a total of 155.

Junior Elena Zheng carded scores of 88 and 75.Â
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

Princeton is in first place (+16, 592) followed by Richmond in second place (+18, 594) and Penn (+21, 597) to round out the top three.Â

The Hoyas finished rounds one and two behind Harvard (+24, 600) and six strokes ahead of Delaware (+33, 609).
UP NEXT
After the completion of the final round of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational, the Blue & Gray will return to action October 25-26 to close out the fall slate when the squad travels to the Palmetto Invitational in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
