WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team finished tied for fifth with a 54-hole score of 54-over par 918 at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational. The Hoyas carded rounds of 302, 301 and 315 at the par 72, 6,169 yard Rehoboth Beach Country Club.

Junior Lauren May was GU's top scorer as she finished tied for third with scores of 73, 74 and 76.

Sophomore Megan Gormley finished with a total score of 231 to tie for 25th.

Junior Esther Park carded scores of 76, 87 and 80 for a total score of 243 to finish tied for 54th.

Senior Kaitlyn Lees carded scores of 82, 73 and 77 to place tied for 28th.

Junior Elena Zheng carded scores of 88, 75 and 82 for a total score of 246.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

Princeton finished in first place (+27, 891) followed by Harvard in second place (+38, 902) and Richmond (+40, 904) to round out the top three.

The Hoyas finished tied with the host Delaware and four strokes ahead of Navy (+58, 922).

The Blue & Gray will return to action October 25-26 to close out the fall slate when the squad travels to the Palmetto Invitational in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
