WASHINGTON – After a week off from competition, the Georgetown women's tennis team returned to action in Towson, Maryland at the Fall Tiger Classic hosted by Towson University. The Hoyas had four matchups this weekend, beginning with Mount St. Mary's University on Saturday morning. Georgetown also faced off against Delaware State University, Towson University, and Johns Hopkins University.
Results
- The Hoyas went 4-1 against Mount St. Mary's on Saturday. Olivia Ashton, Isabelle Chang, and Carmen Aizpurua all posted wins in their singles matches. Chloe Bendetti and Morgan Coburn teamed up to defeat a pair of Mountaineers in the first of four doubles wins for the Hoyas.
- After a scheduling change, Georgetown matched up against Delaware State on Sunday. The Hoyas were 4-1 against the Hornets, posting three more singles wins and a doubles win. McHaley Ho posted her first win of the weekend and was joined in the win column by Aizpurua, Chang, and the Bendetti/Coburn duo.
- Against Towson on Sunday, the Hoyas again posted four wins and one loss. Avantika Willy won her singles match to start the competition against Towson, and Ashton, Coburn, and the doubles pair of Ho/Agata Mikos took home wins for Georgetown.
- Willy, Ashton, and Mikos carried the momentum into their singles matches against Johns Hopkins University on Sunday afternoon. The Hoyas went 4-1 against Johns Hopkins, with the three singles wins and a doubles win from Bendetti/Chang.

Ho and Willy qualified for the ITA Atlantic Super Regional Championship hosted by the University of Virginia and will compete the weekend of October 22-25.
