Michael J. Callahan on the Coed Atlantic Coast Championship
"The Yale Women's Regatta was a struggle for our team. We had trouble with consistency throughout the weekend. We have a lot of time to work that through and I'm still pleased with our progress as a team." - Callahan on the Yale Women's Regatta
COED ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP (Oct. 23-24; St. Mary's City, Md.; 3rd of 18)
- With just nine races over two days, the Georgetown coed team had to be consistent out of the gate, with little time to make up for mistakes.
- In the A division, the Hoyas managed five races among the top five, including a pair of wins. However, the last win for the Hoyas was sandwiched between two setbacks, pushing the Blue & Gray to a definitive third with 66 points.
- The B division got off to a slow start but bounced back and found a rhythm, and by the fourth race they were among the top three. A win in race six followed by a runner-up performance in race eight secured third place for GU with 72 points.
- A Division (3rd of 18) Lineup: Jack Reiter [skipper] with Annabelle Ayer [crew]
- B Division (3rd of 18) Lineup: Scott Mais [skipper] with Addi Harris [crew]

- In the A division, Georgetown could not find any consistency and despite lineup changes, struggled through six of the 12 frames. The Hoyas closed on one of its four single-digit performances to tally 138 points, good enough for 13th.
